Why different styles of lingerie matter

A boudoir shoot is all about showing off your personality. This can be done using different poses, showing off specific parts of your body through angles of shot, and location. However, one of the best ways to show your personality off is the lingerie that you wear.

If you prefer light colours then definitely wear light lingerie, if purple is your favourite colour you should definitely bring along at least one lingerie set that's purple. This goes for style as well, if you love body suits or corsets then that is what you should be wearing.

However, don't forget it's not all about the lingerie. If you love wearing your other halves clothes around the house then you should definitely bring some of his garments, if you love to feel cosy then wearing an oversized jumper can be just as sexy as some lace lingerie. If you are feeling particularly comfortable and adventurous you could even experiment with implied nude or topless. However, only a few of my clients want this, which is completely understandable and at the end of the day you only wear what you feel comfortable with.

I also advise my models on what lingerie to bring and you will get a lingerie style guide when you book me, which will help you out when it comes to deciding what to wear. You will wear at least 3 different styles of outfits during your boudoir shoot so that is the minimum that you should bring, a good trio would be (for example) a two piece lace lingerie set, a corset with matching underwear and an oversized jumper that you could wear over your lingerie set.
