It's not all about lace lingerie, you know!

I often hear clients say that they don't want to wear lace lingerie or lingerie in the traditional sense (bra & panties) as they don't want to be photographed like that or they don't feel comfortable with certain parts of their body and they'd like to be more covered up. This is completely understandable and the first thing that you should know about having a boudoir shoot with me is that you are in no way obligated to just wear lace lingerie.

I do what I do because I love to empower women and give them a huge boost to their self confidence and this starts with what you wear during your photoshoot. This means that you have got to wear what makes you comfortable. You could wear a corset or a body suit or a bustiers, maybe a lace shawl so you feel more covered up. The options are endless. And even if you do wear a bra and panty set they don't have to be small and revealing, you could bring a set that covers you up more, maybe the panties sit higher up you torso or there's extra material that adds extra cover.

If you are unsure what to wear, don't worry as I send out a lingerie styling guide once you book me to give you plenty of ideas about what to wear, also Pinterest can be your best friend for ideas and inspiration and if you are still unsure I am more than happy to answer any questions that you have.

Below is an example of a shoot where the model is wearing 'non-traditional' boudoir lingerie and absolutely killing the look. I will add that Alex was very confident in her body but wore these outfits because it fits here style and personality.
